This multipart plastic kit builds one Krootox Rider, an elder Kroot kin-beast with a gunner perched atop its broad back.

The Krootox carries one of two heavy weapons into battle – either a rapid-fire repeater cannon that can punch through armoured troops or even light vehicles with a barrage of charged rounds, or a tanglecannon that launches explosive bolas to shred entire hordes. When the fighting draws too close, it crushes foes into pulp with its massive, muscular fists.

You'll also find cosmetic build options to help mix up your Krootox herds – including three different heads for both the Krootox and its Kroot gunner, as well as optional accessories to hang from kin-beast or rider.

The Piranha is a lightly armoured vehicle used by the Tau in a range of capacities, including rapid response, support of pathfinder teams and even as battlefield transport for high-ranking dignitaries.

By Upgrading the vehicle to carry a fusion blaster or a pair of seeker missiles it becomes an effective tank hunter, particularly when guided to a target by Pathfinder teams.

The XV104 Riptide takes the evolution of the Tau battlesuit to a whole new level.

First and foremost the model is huge, towering over the rest of the T'au – even other battlesuits and tanks. Sleek and elegant armour panels, along with bolts and grills, cover its body. Despite its enormous size, with ball and socket joints it remains a manoeuvrable model whose arms and legs can be posed in a variety of different ways. Either standing tall or even kneeling down, you can use it as a unique, dynamic centrepiece for your T'au army.

As well as three variant heads it comes with a range of weapons options including a heavy burst cannon, twin-linked smart missile systems, fusion blaster and Riptide shield generator. If that wasn't enough, the kit also comes with two Shielded Missile Drones.

This multi-part plastic kit gives you everything you need in order to build one Tau Commander, in either an XV-85 Enforcer Armour Crisis Battlesuit or an XV86 Coldstar Battlesuit. There's an immense number of options available in the box - different heads, engines, leg and arm assemblies - and a ton of weapons! An airburst frag projector, a plasma rifle, a flamer, a fusion blaster, a cyclic ion blaster, a burst cannon (plus upgrade kit) and a missile pod. Included is a drone, which can be assembled as a gun, shield or marker drone.

Their XV-85 Enforcer Armour Crisis Battlesuits are armed with immensely destructive weapon arrays - flamers, ion blasters and frag projectors are amongst the optional loadouts, with electronic countermeasure suites and huge data-processing capabilities enhancing their battle prowess.

The XV86 Coldstar Battlesuit variant is covered in fins which streamline it, allowing super-fast movement across the theatre of battle, annihilating enemies with sharp shocks from its burst cannon. The on-board holophoton countermeasures and telemetry suites feed the Coldstar and its Commander pilot a massive variety of information that would overwhelm the untrained mind - instead, in this case, it allows the Coldstar Battlesuit to soar over its foes with a grace that enemy targeting systems simply cannot hope to catch.

Seventy-seven components are included, and one Citadel 60mm Round base.

There are 10 Tau Empire Pathfinders in this kit, and they can be built in a variety of ways – there are different leg options, for kneeling, crouching or standing, as well as different head options.

They sport lighter recon armour, which covers their torso, shoulders, knees and elbows, and they wear the similar long, elegant helmets to Fire Warriors.

They can carry a selection of weapons including pulse carbines, rail rifle, and ion rifles. The kit includes an enormous Recon Drone, which can be mounted on a Devilfish tank (not included), and which comes armed with a burst cannon.

The box set also features a Pulse Accelerator Drone, with a four-pronged device underneath the circular disc, and the Grav-inhibitor Drone that features an orb underneath.
